You have a Saprobe breaking down dead soil material...specifically Polyporus radicatus. It is usually more tough and leathery than most boletes.

You have a mycorrhizal Mutualist with nearby trees, probably a bolete (various genera including Boletus, many pictured here), or perhaps another miscellaneous fungus such as a Coltricia or Albatrellus.
